Job summary

Baker Hughes in Malaysia seeks an experienced SAP HCM/Payroll Solution Architect to design, develop, and customize SAP HCM modules including Payroll, Personnel Administration, Time Management, and Interfaces. You will serve as a functional liaison between Operations, Process Leads, and Applications Team to translate business needs into concrete specifications and deliver HR projects with compliance.

The role requires 7+ years in SAP HCM/HR configuration, strong US & Canada payroll knowledge, and

Qualifications

7+ years of SAP HCM/HR configuration experience in Payroll and HR operations.
Experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA payroll posting to finance.
Knowledge of US & Canada payroll methodologies and tax rules.
Experience with ABAP, UI5 or Fiori development is required.
Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and customize SAP HCM modules including Payroll and PA.
Act as functional liaison between Operations, Process Leads, and Applications Team.
Lead HR projects ensuring legal and HR compliance.
Define and execute SAP HR/HCM development using ABAP, Web Dynpro, Fiori, and UI5.
Troubleshoot, optimize existing programs, and implement enhancements.
Manage day-to-day SAP ECC HR operations and interfaces.
Automate routine tasks with scripts and templates.
Maintain technical documentation and training materials.
