Job summary

Baker Hughes in Malaysia is seeking a Project Management Specialist - Project Leadership to drive delivery of key aftermarket projects in the Power Generation division.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage scope, cost and schedule, and maintain strong customer engagement while traveling domestically and internationally.

The role favors PMI credentials (PMP/PRINCE2) and familiarity with PMBOK processes, with extensive experience in Oil & Gas aftermarket projects.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas aftermarket project delivery or similar role.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification is advantageous.
• Understanding of PMBOK-based project management methodologies is advantageous.
• Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing allocated Customer key accounts and/or projects to complete on schedule and within cost.
• Designating accounts from planning to contract delivery and close-out.
• Coordinating communications between the customer and the Company from order receipt to warranty period.
• Coordinating activity within internal departments for resourcing and rest of the world.
• Monitoring and issuing contractual documentation to the Customer.
• Monitoring actual and estimated project expenditure and addressing variances.
• Managing change through established processes with documented impacts.
• Developing and maintaining stakeholder engagement plans across teams.
• Leading project review meetings and providing status reports to stakeholders.
• Ensuring final project reports and workbooks are completed on time.
