Job summary

FPG Oleochemicals Sdn Bhd in Kuantan, Pahang, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead site construction activities under capital projects. The role requires strong scheduling, coordination across civil, structural, mechanical and HS&E standards, and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Lead, manage and execute site construction activities under capital projects.
• Must have process knowledge or capability to learn process area quickly, including key unit operations and product specs.
• Understand Materials of Construction and design requirements for different areas.
• Understand ASME Code and DOSH requirements for new vessels and repairs.
• Excellent communication and ability to deal with internal and external customers.
• Independent and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate engineering projects to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet safety and quality standards.
• Develop and monitor construction schedules for projects.
• Ensure compliance with civil, structural, mechanical and HS&E standards.
