Job summary

V.S. INDUSTRY BERHAD is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operators and drive daily output, quality, and delivery targets at our Senai, Johor site.

The role focuses on planning, coordinating manpower, machine utilization, and material flow to ensure smooth production. You will work with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Management teams to resolve issues, conduct shift handovers, and maintain KPI-driven daily reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in metal stamping, injection moulding, or assembly preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO, 5S, safety and production documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production operators to achieve daily output, quality, productivity, cycle time, and delivery targets.
• Plan and monitor daily production activities, manpower allocation, machine utilization and material flow to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor WIP and production progress and ensure production schedules are achieved according to customer requirements.
• Identify and resolve daily production, quality, machine and process issues by working closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Technical and Management teams.
• Conduct shift meetings and ensure proper handover of production status, issues and follow-up actions between shifts.
• Prepare and review daily production reports, monitor key performance indicators and escape issues requiring further action.
• Drive 5S, continuous improvement, productivity improvement, waste reduction, and process optimization within the production area.
• Coach and develop operators through on-the-job training, while maintaining a safe, disciplined, and positive working environment.
