Job summary

Maverick United Consulting Engineers, based in Kuala Lumpur, seeks a Lead Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer to head the PFP team on Malaysia projects. The role requires strong expertise in plumbing and fire protection systems design, with leadership and client liaison capabilities.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering and have at least 10 years in an engineering consultancy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in an engineering consultancy.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/building services engineering.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA, BS, MS and local codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit BIM, and hydraulic calculation software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Plumbing & Fire Protection team with technical guidance.
• Review, validate, and coordinate design deliverables across project stages.
• Ensure designs comply with codes and client requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, authorities, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support planning, estimates, risk management, and timely delivery.
