Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Test Automation Lead specializing in Playwright to define the automation roadmap, govern standards and lead migration of TOSCA assets. The role requires strong leadership to guide automation engineers, collaborate with DevOps and test managers, and ensure release readiness through robust CI/CD practices.

Ideal candidates will have enterprise automation experience, hands-on Playwright and TOSCA skills, and a strong background in banking domain testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
• ISTQB or relevant automation certification is preferred.
• Experience designing enterprise-grade test automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define the Playwright automation roadmap, governance model and standards.
• Assess and migrate TOSCA suites; plan prioritization, traceability and validation.
• Establish CI/CD execution, test reporting and environment/configuration management.
• Lead design reviews, mentor automation engineers and provide technical direction.
• Partner with Test Managers, application teams and DevOps to define scope and release readiness.
• Track automation coverage, migration progress and delivery risks.
