Job summary

UST Malaysia is seeking a PCB Layout and Schematic Review Engineer to support client services, accelerating time-to-market and improving product quality. You will review schematic and layout designs, extract information, and develop project documentation.

The role requires strong skills in high-speed PCB design, differential pairs, impedance control, and power integrity, with 1–10 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-speed PCB design reviews and rule development.
• Strong PCB routing knowledge: trace width, spacing, length matching, tolerances.
• Expertise in edge-coupled and broadside-differential pairs and impedance.
• Knowledge of DC/AC power requirements for board design.
• Familiar with DDR3/PCIE/USB/SATA and system-level design issues.
• 1–10 years of experience; fresh graduates with PCB knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Work with project team to understand circuit requirements and limitations.
• Perform schematic and layout design reviews on customer designs.
• Deliver reports within SLA.
• Review and recommend improvements to schematic/layout designs and resolve issues timely.
• Report extraction information from customer designs.
• Develop design documentation and requirements specifications for projects.
