Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced MEP Project Lead to plan and manage large-scale MEP initiatives, coordinating design and construction across multidisciplinary teams. You will ensure alignment with project goals, maintain standards, and drive successful handovers of fully functional MEP systems.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 10 years in the MEP sector, and fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related experience.
• 10 years in MEP industry, including managing large-scale advanced manufacturing or data center projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including design principles, construction methods, and materials.
• Ability to identify issues proactively and develop effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (written and spoken) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop MEP project plans aligned with overall goals and timelines.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to meet project milestones.
• Oversee MEP design development and ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide expert guidance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ensure integration of MEP with CSA systems.
• Enforce quality assurance through audits and reviews.
• Manage design changes and assess project impacts.
• Identify and mitigate MEP-related risks.
• Act as main contact for MEP coordination and communication.
• Plan and implement commissioning for all MEP systems.
• Train client teams on MEP system operation and maintenance.
• Ensure smooth final handover of fully operational MEP systems.
