Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, cleanroom, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data centre or similar high-technology facilities.
  • Professional Engineer (PEng) registration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all mechanical engineering activities for the project, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, standards and contract requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership for mechanical systems, including HVAC, cleanroom systems, piping, utilities, and related infrastructure.
  • Review and approve mechanical designs, calculations, vendor documents, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
  • Coordinate mechanical interfaces with electrical, process, civil, structural and commissioning disciplines.
  • Monitor contractor performance for quality, schedule, testing, commissioning, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Support technical evaluations, risk management, change control, and resolution of mechanical engineering issues.
  • Participate in construction, testing, commissioning, start-up, and handover activities to ensure successful delivery of mechanical systems.

Lead Mechanical Engineer
  • Lead all mechanical engineering activities for the project, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership for mechanical systems, including process utilities, HVAC, cleanroom mechanical systems, piping, compressed gases, water systems, and associated infrastructure.
  • Review and approve mechanical designs, calculations, vendor documents, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
  • Coordinate mechanical interfaces with electrical, process, civil, structural, and commissioning disciplines to support efficient project execution.
  • Monitor contractor performance for quality, schedule, testing, commissioning, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Support technical evaluations, risk management, change control, and resolution of mechanical engineering issues.
  • Participate in construction, testing, commissioning, start-up, and handover activities to ensure successful delivery of mechanical systems.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in mechanical engineering, including cleanroom and process utility systems.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, cleanroom, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data centre, or similar high-technology facilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, process piping, utilities distribution, equipment integration, testing, and commissioning.
  • PMC/Owner's Engineer experience and semiconductor project experience will be an added advantage.
  • Professional Engineer (PEng) registration is preferred.
