Reeracoen Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Design Lead to oversee the full mechanical system design for multiple projects in Penang. You will guide a team through detailed design, ensure drawings and specs meet client requirements, and drive optimization for energy efficiency.

The role requires 10+ years in local design institutes or engineering firms, with preference for semiconductor or pharmaceutical project backgrounds.

Formación

• Bachelor degree or above in Engineering or relevant field.
• At least 10 years of experience in local design institutes or engineering firms.
• Semiconductor and/or Pharmaceutical project references preferred.
• Familiar with AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE standards and Carrier HAP software preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for the overall calculation and design of mechanical systems per project requirements and client specs.
• Lead the team in completing detailed mechanical design, review drawings and technical parameters, and resolve key issues.
• Track emerging mechanical engineering technologies to promote design optimization and reduce energy and operating costs.
• Lead and coordinate mechanical discipline interfaces with other engineering disciplines.
• Review and approve mechanical system shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Coordinate project site construction schedules, quality, and safety.
• Prepare technical proposals for project bidding and assist business team in negotiations.

• Responsible for the overall calculation and design of mechanical systems in accordance with project requirements, client specifications.
• Lead the team in completing detailed mechanical design, reviewing design drawings and technical parameters, and resolving key technical issues during the design process.
• Track emerging mechanical engineering technologies, promote design optimization and technological applications, and improve system efficiency while reducing energy consumption and operating costs.
• Lead and coordinate mechanical discipline interfaces with other engineering disciplines.
• Review and approve mechanical system shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Coordinate project site construction schedules, quality, and safety.
• Participate in preparing technical proposals for project bidding, provide professional technical support, and assist the business team in project negotiations.

Required Experience

• Bachelor degree or above in Engineering or relevant
• At least 10 years working experiences in local design institute or engineering company
• Semiconductor and/or Pharmaceutic project reference is preferred
• Familiar with AutoCAD
• Familiarity with ASHRAE standards and Carrier HAP software is preferred
