Job summary

Lumileds Malaysia seeks a Maintenance Technician I/II/III to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, ensuring optimal operation and minimal downtime. The role supports daily production by troubleshooting and maintaining equipment across Dispensing, Die Attach, Tape and Reel, and Wafer Sawing processes.

Experience in Die Attach, Dispenser, Tape and Reel, Pick and Place, and Sawing is preferred.

Qualifications

Leadership and coaching to meet productivity, quality and safety targets.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
Experience in equipment or machinery maintenance in manufacturing.
Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and use measurement tools.
Knowledge of PLC, motor control, pneumatic systems is an advantage.
Willing to work in shift rotation and respond to urgent maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

Lead and troubleshoot tape and reel, die attach, and dispensing equipment to minimize downtime.
Support equipment setup, recipe changes, and parameter tuning for different products.
Maintain detailed service and maintenance logs and parts inventory.
Coordinate with engineering and production to ensure machine readiness.
Perform basic root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
