Job summary

Keywords Studios is expanding its Southeast Asia team and is seeking an accomplished Lead Lighting Artist to join an exciting unannounced project. The role offers an opportunity to shape lighting for real-time gameplay and cinematic sequences across multiple platforms.

You will collaborate with Art Direction, Environment, Level Design and Technical Art to establish the lighting style, optimize workflows, and mentor junior artists.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Lighting Artist on a shipped AAA or high‑quality game project.
• Strong portfolio showing lighting, composition, mood and atmosphere.
• Solid understanding of lighting theory, colour, exposure and real‑time rendering.

Responsibilities

• Creates high‑quality lighting that supports gameplay, narrative, mood, and artistic direction.
• Helps establish the visual and quality bar for lighting across the project.
• Builds, iterates and optimises lighting setups for real‑time environments and gameplay.
• Collaborates with Art Direction, Environment Art, Level Design and Technical Art to ensure lighting supports composition, atmosphere and readability.
• Provides hands‑on guidance, feedback and mentoring to other lighting artists.
