Job summary

RESONAC MATERIALS JOHOR SDN. BHD. is seeking an Instrumentation Engineer to inspect instruments and lead project investigations to forecast new equipment installation, modification, alteration and variation of existing equipment.

You will manage the instrument team, monitor performance and development needs, ensure calibration and preventive maintenance plans, and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation.
• At least 3 years' manufacturing experience.
• Experience with PLC, DCS, SCADA systems.
• Ability to read P&ID, drawings and instrument diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct instrument inspection and project investigations to assess feasibility and forecast equipment installations.
• Identify causes of machinery failures and deficiencies.
• Lead instrument team members and monitor performance and development needs.
• Develop maintenance plans and ensure adherence.
• Study machine problems and propose countermeasures.
• Maintain ISO, Safety, SGA/AHA and related documentation.
