Job summary

PERSOL Workforce Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to lead and perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on instrumentation and control systems, including field devices, valves, and analyzers.

You will calibrate and test instruments, troubleshoot complex faults, install and commission new systems, and maintain detailed documentation for ISO/MI and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma, Competent Certificate, or Associate degree in Instrumentation Technology or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 4–5 years industrial experience for journey-level roles.
• Problem-solving: apply critical thinking to diagnose root causes of complex malfunctions.
• Physical: ability to work in confined spaces and be on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on instrumentation and control systems.
• Calibrate instruments and perform routine testing to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex faults and minimize downtime.
• Install and commission new instrumentation and automation systems.
• Document maintenance activities to ISO/MI and safety standards (OSHA, SH& E).
• Mentor junior technicians and provide safety-focused training.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to improve system reliability.
• Assist with spare parts inventory and maintenance planning.
