Job summary

SeaOwl Group is seeking a Lead Inspector within the Maintenance department to oversee inspection activities and ensure reliability and quality in maintenance operations. You will plan, supervise, and validate inspections, classify defects, and define methodologies to drive safe, data-driven decisions.

You will coordinate with maintenance teams, review findings, ensure compliance with procedures and safety standards, and prepare comprehensive inspection reports for management.

Responsibilities

• Define inspection methodology and approve inspection reports.
• Coordinate inspection activities within the maintenance scope and interface with teams.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Review findings, identify deviations, and support corrective actions follow-up.
• Prepare and consolidate inspection reports for operational teams and management.
• Collaborate with maintenance stakeholders to support continuous improvement and performance.

Job description

As a Lead Inspector, you will play a key role in overseeing inspection activities and ensuring the reliability, consistency, and quality of maintenance operations. You will be directly integrated into the Maintenance department.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Plan and supervise inspection activities, Validate inspection findings, Classify defects: Minor / Major / Critical, Define inspection methodology, Interface, Approve inspection report, Recommend: Further analysis (FEM required or not), Ensure data is fit for engineering use
• Lead and coordinate inspection activities within the maintenance scope.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Review inspection findings, identify deviations, and support the follow-up of corrective actions.
• Prepare and consolidate inspection reports for operational teams and management.
• Collaborate with maintenance stakeholders to support continuous improvement and operational performance.
• Contribute to the organization and prioritization of inspection activities in line with business needs.
