Job summary

Surbana Jurong in Malaysia invites an experienced candidate for Coordination and Interface Management, Commissioning Assurance, and Witnessing across I&C and SCADA systems for the Nenggiri project site in Kelantan. You will review procedures, maintain interfaces, and lead meetings with E&M Contractor to resolve clashes and ensure alignment with TNB grid code.

You must hold a BSc in electrical or mechanical engineering and have 20+ years in hydropower, with proven SAT and commissioning experience

Qualifications

• BSc degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 20+ years in hydropower projects.
• Proven SAT, commissioning and troubleshooting of I&C and SCADA on site.
• Familiar with IEC/IEEE/ISA standards and grid/SCADA requirements.
• Working knowledge of FIDIC contracts.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve commissioning procedures with the Employer.
• Maintain I&C and SCADA interface register for all areas.
• Lead interface meetings with the E&M Contractor and Subcontractors to identify clashes and deadlines.
• Ensure interfaces align with TNB requirements and proper interlocks.
• Prepare the Commissioning Report and verify readiness for TOC/COD.
