Job summary

TechStreet, based in Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior Front End Lead Developer to direct the design, development, and maintenance of web and mobile applications. You will lead a cross‑functional team, collaborate with UI/UX designers and stakeholders, and ensure scalable, secure, high‑performing solutions.

The role demands hands‑on expertise in front‑end and mobile development, API integration, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software development, IT project consultancy, system implementation, or similar technical environment.
• Minimum 5 years in vendor/IT consultancy environment.
• Hands-on experience in web and/or mobile development.
• Experience leading or providing technical direction to software development/implementation teams.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Next.js, React.js, .NET, and React Native.
• Experience with Android/iOS development.
• Good knowledge of REST APIs and JSON.
• Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS.
• Proficient in Git and CI/CD.
• Understanding of software design principles, architecture, testing, debugging.
• Ability to work in a vendor/IT consultancy environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end & mobile development for web and mobile apps.
• Develop and maintain apps using Node.js/Next.js/React.js/.NET.
• Build mobile apps using React Native for Android and iOS.
• Collaborate with UI/UX to translate designs into functional apps.
• Design and implement well-structured APIs; integrate with back-end systems.
• Ensure apps are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Establish CI/CD processes and support release management.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team.
• Participate in Agile SDLC and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain technical documentation and adhere to standards.
