Job summary

754 Altera Semiconductor Technology (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Penang seeks an FPGA Validation Engineer to define and develop FPGA validation plans and lab environments, ensuring silicon bring-up aligns with customer use models and performance targets.

You will collaborate with architecture, design, software, firmware, and tools teams to validate functionality, performance, and power, and you will manage the validation program from prototype to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in E&E engineering as stated.
• Master's in E&E preferred as an advantage.
• Experience in FPGA validation and silicon bring-up.
• Knowledge of PCIe and Ethernet protocols.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop FPGA validation plans and lab environments.
• Validate performance, power, and functionality against specs.
• Collaborate with architecture, design, software, firmware, and tools teams.
• Debug silicon bring-up issues from prototype to production.
