Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and implementation of WCM methodology across the plant.
• Coordinate WCM pillar activities and ensure alignment with plant objectives.
• Organize WCM audits, self-assessments, and follow-up action plans.
• Monitor WCM progress and report results to plant leadership.
• Facilitate WCM workshops and pillar meetings.
• Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities to eliminate losses.
• Facilitate Kaizen, Focused Improvement, and loss reduction projects.
• Lead root cause analysis using Why-Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, and A3 Problem Solving.
• Track and validate benefits from improvement projects.
• Support Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Professional Maintenance (PM) activities.
• Work closely with Maintenance and Production teams to improve equipment reliability.
• Monitor equipment losses, breakdowns, and recurring failures.
• Facilitate problem-solving activities to improve MTBF and reduce downtime.
• Develop and maintain WCM KPI dashboards including OEE, breakdown losses, MTBF/MTTR, quality losses, safety.

Job description

The Lead WCM Facilitator is responsible for driving the implementation and sustainability of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) across the plant. The role focuses on delivering continuous improvement, improving equipment reliability, eliminating losses, developing people capabilities, and supporting all WCM pillars to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. WCM Deployment & Governance

Lead the deployment and implementation of WCM methodology across the plant.

Coordinate WCM pillar activities and ensure alignment with plant objectives.

Organize WCM audits, self-assessments, and follow-up action plans.

Monitor WCM progress and report results to plant leadership.

Facilitate WCM workshops and pillar meetings.

Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities to eliminate losses.

Facilitate Kaizen, Focused Improvement, and loss reduction projects.

Lead root cause analysis using methodologies such as Why-Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, and A3 Problem Solving.

Track and validate benefits from improvement projects.

3. Reliability Improvement

Support the implementation of Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Professional Maintenance (PM) activities.

Work closely with Maintenance and Production teams to improve equipment reliability.

Monitor equipment losses, breakdowns, and recurring failures.

Facilitate problem-solving activities to improve MTBF and reduce downtime.

4. Performance Management

Develop and maintain WCM KPI dashboards.

Support departments in achieving KPI targets.

5. Training & Capability Development

Develop and deliver WCM training programs for all plant employees.

Coach pillar leaders and team members on WCM tools and methodologies.

Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across departments.

Support competency development related to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

6. Culture & Employee Engagement

Promote a culture of safety, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Drive employee involvement in improvement activities.

Facilitate suggestion schemes and recognition programs.

Support the development of a high-performance culture within the plant.

7. Cross-Functional Support

Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams.

Support plant strategic initiatives and transformation projects.

Participate in benchmarking and best-practice sharing within the organization.

8. Reporting & Performance Review

Prepare and submit a monthly WCM report to Plant Management.

Consolidate and analyze key plant performance indicators, including:

OEE

Breakdown losses

MTBF / MTTR

Quality losses

Safety performance

WCM pillar activities and progress

Track and report the status of improvement projects and action plans.

Highlight key achievements, risks, challenges, and support required from management.

Prepare monthly presentations and facilitate performance review meetings with plant leadership.

Ensure all WCM documentation, project records, and KPI reports are maintained and updated.

Additional KPI

Monthly WCM report submitted on time and with accuracy.

Achievement of annual cost savings target.

Closure rate of WCM action plans.
