Job summary

PEC SE ASIA SDN BHD invites a Lead Electronics for Automated Test Systems to guide cross-functional teams in developing advanced test and calibration solutions for electronic and energy storage technologies. The role is based at the Butterworth Plant in Penang, reporting to the global lead Electronics coordinator and the SE Asia COO.

You will coordinate across hardware, software, power electronics and mechanics to deliver scalable test platforms, drive quality and alignment with PEC’s strategic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics or Automation.
• Strong technical understanding of Power electronics, measurement systems and control systems.
• 5+ years’ experience in automated test development for electronics in high complexity/high volume environments.
• Experience with automation software (Python, C#, .NET).

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary Electronics teams to define and deliver automated test/calibration systems.
• Act as the system integrator across R&D, project management, manufacturing and customer-facing teams.
• Own architecture, design and verification of automated test platforms for electronic assemblies and battery-related systems.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and performance standards.
• Manage local outsourcing and transfer of test systems to PEC manufacturing sites and service teams.
