Job summary

The role emphasizes safety, reliability and efficiency of electrical systems across sites. A minimum 5 years in electrical roles with supervisor experience is required, along with strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification or certification.
• Minimum 5 years as an electrical technician, with 2+ years in supervision.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety regs and codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of electrical technicians on daily tasks, schedules and safety.
• Conduct routine maintenance, inspections and testing to prevent faults.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults promptly and efficiently.
• Install, commission and maintain electrical equipment and control panels.
• Ensure all work complies with codes and company safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and spare parts inventory.
• Mentor junior technicians on safety and technical skills.
• Respond to emergencies to minimise downtime.
• Communicate project status and resource needs to management.
