Job summary

TechTiera is seeking a Data Migration & Archiving Delivery Lead to guide the migration and archival workstream for a LMS replacement programme in Malaysia. You will partner with the implementation team to drive profiling, mapping, cleansing, reconciliation and cutover with a strong focus on data integrity and regulatory compliance.

You will lead data discovery, rehearsals and risk management while ensuring timely reporting to the IT Delivery Lead and programme stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Deep subject matter expertise in enterprise data migration, including profiling, mapping, transformation, cleansing, loading, reconciliation and cutover.
• Proven experience leading a data migration and/or archiving workstream on a complex enterprise SaaS transformation.
• Proven experience delivering data migration or archiving for validated GxP-regulated systems, including data integrity, traceability, approvals and inspection-ready evidence.
• Strong understanding of records retention, archiving, retrieval, legal hold and regulated record requirements.
• AI fluency and practical understanding of automation or analytics techniques that can improve profiling, mapping and reconciliation while maintaining compliance.
• Willing to work for 6 - 12 months contract first

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and execute the detailed Data Migration & Archiving workstream plan aligned to the integrated technology delivery plan.
• Lead day-to-day delivery of agreed group's migration and archiving outputs and coordinate assigned specialists, the implementation partner and other suppliers.
• Track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions and decisions within the workstream.
• Provide timely status, forecast and exception reporting to the IT Delivery Lead.
• Escalate cross-workstream dependencies, data ownership issues, resource constraints and decisions requiring programme-level intervention.
• In partnership with the implementation partner, define and maintain the detailed migration approach covering source assessment, profiling, mapping, transformation, extraction, loading and reconciliation.
• Lead data discovery and work with Business Delivery and data owners to agree ownership and acceptance criteria.
• Plan migration rehearsals with the implementation partner, oversee Group readiness and inputs, evaluate results and drive agreed remediation before production migration.
• Define and deliver the archiving approach for records not migrated to the new LMS.
• Embed data integrity, validation and quality requirements in workstream planning and delivery.

Job description

The Data Migration & Archiving Workstream Delivery Lead is responsible for leading data migration and archiving workstream for the LMS Replacement Programme, working in close partnership with the implementation partner responsible for executing key migration activities. The role combines deep data migration and archiving subject matter expertise with workstream delivery leadership across data discovery, profiling, mapping, transformation, migration dry runs, reconciliation and archiving.

Validation experience is essential. The successful candidate must have led data migration and/or archiving activities for validated GxP-regulated systems and understand data integrity, traceability, reconciliation, approval and inspection-ready evidence.

The successful candidate will be AI-fluent and able to evaluate and apply appropriate automation, analytics and AI-assisted techniques to improve profiling, mapping, cleansing, reconciliation and delivery transparency, within agreed quality and compliance guardrails.

Experience coordinating data analysts, data engineers, archive specialists, business data owners, technical teams, the implementation partner and other third-party suppliers.

Experience planning and executing multiple data migration rehearsals and production cutover, with measurable entry and exit criteria.

Strong knowledge of data quality, reconciliation, exception management and control frameworks.

Proven experience developing and managing complex data migration workstream plans, including milestones, dependencies, resources, risks and supplier commitments.

AI fluency and practical understanding of automation or analytics techniques that can improve profiling, mapping and reconciliation while maintaining compliance.

Willing to work for 6 - 12 months contract first
