Job summary

Woh Hup Group in Johor is seeking a qualified engineer to oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems for diverse building projects. You will review drawings, supervise site works, perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and prepare handover documentation while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering and have at least three years’ M&E

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in M&E engineering, testing or commissioning.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, BMS and related building services.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Review M&E drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Supervise and coordinate M&E installation works with contractors and vendors.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning activities for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Prepare commissioning procedures, reports, checklists, and handover documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Support client training and project handover activities.
