Job summary

DataVolt is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis for data center infrastructure. You will use ETABS and other tools to design foundations, slabs, beams, columns, and structural steel, while collaborating with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers to meet safety and regulatory requirements.

The role requires expertise in seismic and wind analyses, adherence to global standards, and on-site inspection during construction to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven Civil/Structural Engineer with data center or critical infrastructure focus.
• Strong ETABS proficiency and knowledge of structural design.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural design and analysis for data center projects from concept to construction.
• Perform advanced analysis and design using ETABS and related software for foundations, slabs, beams, columns.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers and project managers to meet safety and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct load, seismic, and wind analyses with adherence to local and international standards.
• Review drawings, calculations and reports for accuracy; assist in construction document prep.
• Optimize structural systems to meet cost and schedule constraints without compromising quality.
• Perform on-site inspections to ensure design conformance and address issues.
