Job summary

Bridge Data Centres is seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Professional Engineer to lead detailed design for multiple data centre projects in the region. You will oversee ACMV and fire protection systems, develop tender and construction drawings, and ensure designs are code-compliant, power- and water- efficient, and coordinated with all disciplines.

Qualifications

Mechanical Professional Engineer with ACMV & Fire Protection, practicing certificate preferred.
10+ years in Data Centre Detail Design, with 5+ years as principal engineer/MEP manager.
Experience in mechanical studies – airflow modeling, heat load calculation, CFD modeling for data centres.
Familiar with cooling methods – direct/indirect evaporative cooling, chiller plants.
Proficiency in English and Mandarin.
LEED credentials preferred; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Attend technical interviews with clients and vendors.
Develop tender and construction drawings; draft tender specifications.
Conduct technical evaluation and provide design clearance to construction/operations teams.
Review equipment specifications, shop drawings, and construction drawings for coordination.
Ensure design is code-compliant, and meet build-to-suit requirements.
Lead delivery of multiple regional projects concurrently.
