Job summary

DataVolt is seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to develop and implement cooling solutions for data centers. You will design and optimize cooling, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, ensuring reliability and energy efficiency across projects.

The role requires 5+ years in HVAC design with data center focus, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and CFD tools, and a solid grasp of ASHRAE/ISO standards. Master’s degree preferred and local codes knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of HVAC design experience, with at least 3+ years in data centers.
• Proficiency in HVAC design software (AutoCAD, Revit) and CFD analysis tools.
• In-depth understanding of HVAC principles and data center cooling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement efficient HVAC solutions for data centers ensuring energy efficiency and reliability.
• Design HVAC systems including cooling, ventilation, and air conditioning in accordance with standards.
• Manage HVAC design projects from conception to completion within schedule and budget.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and reports with up-to-date documentation.
• Ensure HVAC designs comply with ASHRAE, ISO, and local building codes.
