Job summary

AirAsia is seeking a Lead Network Engineer (Cloud) to drive the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of our network infrastructure. You will ensure high availability, scalability, and security while providing technical leadership across ICT teams and external service providers.

The role requires strong English communication, deep network engineering expertise, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Experience with network design, operation, and security best practices.
• Ability to lead cross-functional ICT teams and external vendors.
• Strong documentation and change management skills.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud networking and VPN technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation and optimization of the enterprise network to ensure high availability and security.
• Oversee network security controls including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
• Provide 2nd/3rd level support for network issues and guide junior engineers.
• Coordinate network projects with vendors and other ICT teams.
• Maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and change records.
