Job summary

JLL in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia is seeking a Chargeman A4 to lead a technician team and oversee building services and store equipment. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, safety checks, and monitor contractors to ensure compliance with health and safety standards on-site.

Qualifications

Chargeman A4 certificate is required.
Minimum 3 years experience in facilities management or building operations.
Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Willing to work on shifts, public holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of Technicians to ensure building services and store equipment operate well.
Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance per plan.
Monitor third party contractors and ensure safety/compliance.
Conduct safe and legal routine checks per Health and Safety policy.
Maintain equipment according to risk standards and act quickly on issues.
Keep engineering store area and plant rooms tidy and accessible.
Perform routine inspections every 3 hours and oversee contractor work.
Maintain all electrical and operations equipment.
