Job summary

AIA Digital+ is seeking a capable BI developer to build and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards, connecting to Dataverse, SQL Server, SharePoint, and Azure services. You will design data models, implement measures, and drive data-driven decision making across the organization.

Proficiency in DAX, M, and data governance is required. The role involves collaboration with multiple teams, delivering reliable analytics solutions and scalable data platforms in the Malaysia market.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering Power BI reports, dashboards and semantic models.
• Strong data modeling, DAX calculations and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouse and Warehouse is a plus.

We will equip you with the critical skills, tools and technology, and endless opportunities to learn, contribute and thrive in a dynamic and exciting environment.If you want to shape a brighter future at AIA Digital+, please read on.**About the Role**Responsible for providing application development and support services to meet AIA's business needs**Power BI / Microsoft Fabric Development (60%)*** Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models (datasets) to support business reporting and decision-making.* Design and implement data models, relationships, measures, calculated columns, and KPIs using DAX.* Develop and optimize Power Query (M) transformations, data preparation, and ETL processes.* Connect and integrate data from various sources including Dataverse, SQL Server, SharePoint, Azure services, APIs, and other enterprise systems.* Create and maintain interactive visualizations, drill-through reports, paginated reports, and executive dashboards.* Monitor and optimize report performance, data refresh schedules, gateway connectivity, and dataset usage.* Support row-level security (RLS), workspace management, report deployment, and governance requirements.* Assist in Microsoft Fabric capabilities such as Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Fabric Analytics where applicable.* Troubleshoot reporting, data quality, refresh, and performance issues. **Power Platform Development (30%)*** Develop and maintain Power Apps (Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps) for simple to moderate business requirements.* Develop, enhance, and support Power Automate cloud flows, desktop flows, and workflow solutions.* Assist in configuring and maintaining Dataverse tables, relationships, forms, and views.* Support development activities using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Dataflows, and Web Resources where required.* Follow established development standards, governance, and best practices.* Investigate and troubleshoot application issues with guidance when required* Assist in performing root cause analysis and documenting findings for recurring issues.* Prepare and maintain technical documentation, support guides, an knowledge base articles. **Delivery and continuous Improvement (10%)*** Proactively identify recurring issues and continuous improvement opportunities to enhance platform stability and performance.* Copilot / AI bot knowledge is a plus, with a strong willingness to learn, adopt, and support AI‐driven conversational and automation solutions within the Power Platform*Build a career with us as we help our customers and the community live healthier, longer, better lives.**You must provide all requested information, including Personal Data, to be considered for this career opportunity.
