Job summary

Jabil is seeking an experienced AngularJS Developer with MES knowledge in Malaysia to join our development team. You will design, develop, and maintain web-based MES applications that support manufacturing operations, collaborating with manufacturing engineers and business analysts to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of AngularJS experience, strong JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3 skills, and hands-on REST APIs, Git, and SQL.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using AngularJS.
• Develop user-friendly interfaces for MES applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Support MES modules such as Production Management, Work Order Execution, Quality Management, Equipment Monitoring, Traceability and Genealogy, and Material Tracking.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in production environments.
• Optimize application performance and responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide user support when required.
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure software quality and reliability.

Required Qualifications

  • Production Scheduling
  • Quality Control
  • Shop Floor Data Collection
  • Barcode/PFC/Conveyor integration
• Experience integrating MES with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Knowledge of OPC, PLC, CAMX, CFX or industrial communication protocols is an advantage.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
