Job summary

MAS Aero Services in Negeri Sembilan is seeking a diligent laundry operative to join our team. You will receive, sort, wash, dry, press, fold, and pack laundry items, operate washing machines and related equipment, and ensure timely processing.

You will inspect items for cleanliness and quality, sort by type and colour, report faults, and maintain cleanliness of machines and workspaces. Training provided; prior experience not required.

• Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow washing and processing methods by item type and condition.
• Ensure items processed within required turnaround time.
• Inspect items before and after processing for cleanliness and quality.
• Sort items by type, colour, customer, soil level, or processing needs.
• Handle customers' laundry and belongings with care to prevent loss or damage.
• Identify damaged or unusual items and report to supervisor.
• Label, count, and separate items throughout the process.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, extractors, ironing/pressing, folding machines and related equipment.

• Receive, sort, load, wash, dry, press, fold, and pack laundry items according to established procedures.
• Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow the appropriate washing and processing methods based on the type and condition of laundry items.
• Ensure laundry items are processed within the required turnaround time.
• Inspect laundry items before and after processing to ensure cleanliness and quality.
• Sort laundry items according to type, colour, customer, level of soiling, or processing requirements.
• Handle customers' laundry and belongings carefully to prevent loss, damage, or contamination.
• Identify damaged, stained, or unusual items and report them to the Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Ensure laundry items are properly labelled, counted, and separated throughout the process.

3. Machine & Equipment Operation

• Operate washing machines, dryers, extractors, ironing/pressing machines, folding machines, and other laundry equipment as assigned.
• Conduct basic checks of machines and equipment before use.
• Report equipment faults, breakdowns, or abnormal operating conditions to the Team Leader/Supervisor immediately.
• Ensure machines and work areas are properly cleaned after use.
