Job summary

MKS Inc. in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia is seeking an Assembler to join our Engineering and Production teams.

You will perform essential assembly work on electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical components, reporting to the Manufacturing Operations Manager. You will handle wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing per blueprints, and you will set up equipment with adjustments to meet tolerances.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• Make set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• May be responsible for testing equipment and products.
