Job summary

Gultech (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Chemical/Materials engineer to handle lamination process abnormalities and drive corrective actions. You will optimize process capability, quality and yield for PCB lamination and support material/equipment evaluations.

In this role you will maintain process documentation, participate in quality improvement and cost-down projects, and contribute to Malaysia plant reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials, Electronics or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant engineering experience in PCB manufacturing or lamination.
• Good understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and quality control.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and reporting skills.
• Familiar with Minitab, QC tools, FMEA, SPC and 5-Why are advantageous.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and EHS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle lamination process abnormalities and drive corrective actions.
• Optimize lamination process capability, quality and yield.
• Evaluate and support introduction of new lamination materials and equipment.
• Support quality improvement and cost-down projects.
• Maintain and update process-related documents and reports.
• Conduct material evaluation and compile reports for the Malaysia plant.
