Job summary

CCM CHEMICALS SDN BHD (PGW) is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform testing on incoming raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods. You will ensure strict adherence to ISO 14001 and ISO 9001:2008 procedures and the company EHS policy at all times.

You will maintain clean work areas, prepare and calibrate standard solutions, and record data in SAP. The role involves analyzing combustibles gases and oxygen, requiring good laboratory, analytical, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum - SPM Preferably with Science Subjects/Diploma in relevant field
• Preferably candidates with 2 years of experience in chemical industry
• Good laboratory and analytical skills
• Must not be color blind
• Possess good teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and to coordinate several activities simultaneously

Responsibilities

• To carry out testing of incoming raw material, in-process material & finished goods
• Ensure lab activities are executed as according to ISO 14001, ISO 9001:2008 works procedure and company EHS policy at all times
• Report any non-conformance to supervisor/plant immediately
• To upkeep cleanliness of work areas, apparatus and equipment
• Prepare and calibrate standard solutions and equipment used in lab
• Records and reports data in SAP system
• Involve in analysis of combustible gas and oxygen
