Job summary

KOM Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a lab technician to perform routine concrete and material testing in our Johor facility. You will prepare samples, conduct tests, and record results following set specifications and procedures.

The role requires a Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering or Laboratory Technology. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with opportunities to grow in a certified precast concrete manufacturer.

Qualifications

Certificate/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Laboratory Technology, or related field.
Experience in precast concrete, concrete testing, or QA/QC is an advantage.
Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Perform routine concrete and material testing, including rotate testing.
Prepare samples and conduct laboratory tests according to specifications and procedures.
Record, compile, and report test results accurately.
Maintain proper laboratory records and documentation.
Ensure the laboratory, equipment, and testing area are clean and well maintained.
Follow all laboratory and workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Report any abnormal test results, equipment issues, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
