Job summary

Gold Coin Feedmills (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Laboratory Technician to ensure the quality of raw materials and finished feed samples, and to perform proximate analyses using NIR when samples arrive.

You will take daily samplings from the sacking off department and containers, conduct wet chemistry checks, and inform the Chemist as required while ensuring all lab forms are completed and acted upon to support manufacturing and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Experience in laboratory quality checks.
• Familiarity with proximate analysis and wet chemistry.
• Ability to document lab activities accurately.

Responsibilities

• Check quality of raw materials and finished feed samples.
• Perform proximate analysis (NIR) on receipt of samples.
• Take daily samples from various points and inform the Chemist as needed.

Job description

To check the quality of all raw materials and finished feed samples.

Ensure the proximate analysis with NIR immediately once the samples are received.

Take necessary action by informing the Chemist as stated in Feed Quality Action. Matrix if quality of raw material or finished feed is compromised.

Responsible for periodic checking of samples based on wet chemistry method.

Ensure samplings are done from containers and bulk lorry as requested by the Laboratory.

Ensure samples are taken daily from the sacking off department for quality checksbefore delivery.

Ensure all necessary forms in the lab are filled in and acted upon
