Job summary

Crop P is seeking a QA support specialist to assist the Head of Quality Assurance in daily QA operations and laboratory testing, while contributing to formulation development. The role involves validating materials, data analysis, and supporting compliance with QHSE systems.

Responsibilities include coordinating testing methods, implementing improvements to testing efficiency, and assisting in internal audits under ISO 9001/14001/45001 frameworks. Strong analytical skills required.

Job description

Support the Head of Quality Assurance / Quality Assurance Manager in daily QA operations, laboratory testing and new formulation development, while maintaining the plant’s integrated Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) management system.

• Inspect materials and carry out chemical tests according to established procedures. Coordinate new testing methods under the guidance of the Head of Quality Assurance.
• Support research, design and development of new product formulations, including raw material validation and data analysis during formulation trials.
• Help implement, review and maintain the integrated QHSE management system, and act as an internal auditor to support regulatory and company compliance.
• Initiate and participate in continual improvement projects to improve testing efficiency and reduce laboratory waste.
• Approve or reject incoming raw and packaging materials, finished goods and in-process materials against acceptance criteria. When instructed by the department head, draft and implement procedural changes within ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a closely related scientific field.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing laboratory experience, or a strong fresh graduate with sound academic knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques.
• Knowledge of analytical instrumentation, including chromatography and spectroscopy, with strong computer and reporting skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in chemical testing and QA records, with the ability to investigate abnormal results and recommend corrections.
• A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to work closely with QA and production teams.
