Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a laboratory technician to conduct a range of clinical laboratory tests and support QC activities within a fast-paced clinical setting. The role involves ensuring accuracy through quality control and collaborating with the Lab Manager on calibration tasks.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or Biomedical Science, be comfortable with rotating shifts (including on-call), and ideally have 1–2 years of hands-on lab experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a degree or diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biomedical Science, or related field.
• Willingness to work in a rotational shift environment, including on-call responsibilities.
• Preferably with at least 2 years of hands-on clinical laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests.
• Perform quality control on test results, ensuring validity and accuracy.
• Perform calibration and troubleshooting on testing systems and instruments to ensure adherence to established standards of accuracy.
• Perform job-related duties as assigned by the Lab Manager/ Regional Lab Manager.
