Job summary

Commerz Global Service Solutions (CGSS) Malaysia seeks a Team Head for CVT (KYC) to lead a team, ensure quality, and manage onboarding and ongoing client due diligence. The role involves coordinating with the CVT Department Head, escalating issues, and driving compliance with GCLM, screening, and related procedures in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

College degree in a Business‑related / Banking / Finance discipline or similar education.
KYC / Compliance Certification preferred.
Completed apprenticeship / training in the financial industry or similar experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the CVT (KYC) team, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
Escalate issues and deliver required performance on time with expected quality.
Provide regular reporting to CVT Department Head and coordinate related projects.
Oversee onboarding, reviews, account openings, closures, and offboarding of FI, Corporate Clients and NBFIs.
Review CDD documentation and verify information and documents for KYC processes.
Ensure correct Client Risk Rating and due diligence documentation are maintained in systems.
