Job summary

Pride Global in Petaling Jaya is seeking a DevOps/Operations Engineer to manage cloud-native infra, AI platforms, and databases. You will support Kubernetes clusters, automation, and monitoring while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and performance of production services.

The role requires hands-on experience with container tech, scripting in Python/Java/Go, and a strong Linux foundation. Onsite contract with 6 months duration, extendable up to 1 year.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant DevOps or operations experience.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and container tech.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
• Exposure to AI/ML platforms is a plus.
• Strong Linux, networking, and cloud-native fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized apps in production.
• Develop automation scripts to improve efficiency (Python/Java/Go).
• Maintain databases including backup, tuning, and recovery.
• Build observability with logs, metrics, alerts, and dashboards.
• Collaborate on CI/CD improvements and deployment processes.
• Perform daily health checks, incident response, RCA, and continuous improvement.
