Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a motivated DevOps / Operations Engineer to manage cloud-native infrastructure, AI platforms, and databases. You will support Kubernetes clusters, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability and performance of production services.

Responsibilities include enhancing CI/CD pipelines, building observability platforms, and performing health checks and incident RCA. Onsite, 6 months with potential extension up to 1 year.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience in DevOps, system operations, cloud-native technologies or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s), container technologies, or cloud-native environments.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
• Exposure to AI/ML platforms or related infrastructure is a plus.
• Fluent in Mandarin for daily communication and proficient in English for technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications to maintain stable production environments.
• Develop automation scripts and internal tools using Python, Java, or Go to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage and maintain database systems including maintenance, performance tuning, backup and recovery.
• Build and maintain observability platforms including log collection, metrics monitoring, and alerting.
• Collaborate with software teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment efficiency.
• Perform daily system health checks, respond to incidents, conduct RCA, and implement improvements.
