Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an ESG Data Analyst to own carbon accounting processes and drive sustainability insights from global data. You will manage end-to-end ESG data aggregation, ensure audit-ready compliance, and deliver actionable insights for Asia and beyond.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, 5+ years in ESG reporting, and strong Excel/SQL with Power BI or Tableau experience. Based in Kuala Lumpur, with limited travel and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Finance, Sustainability or Environmental Science.
• 5+ years of hands-on ESG reporting experience (GRI, TCFD, IFRS S1/S2, ESRS).
• Advanced Excel and SQL; strong BI tool experience (Power BI or Tableau).
• Deep familiarity with Greenhouse Gas Protocol and carbon accounting software is a plus.
• Ability to translate large datasets into clear operational insights and collaborate across international teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as global key user and process owner for the carbon accounting software.
• Aggregate, process, and analyze Scope 1–3 data across multiple business units.
• Validate data and ensure audit-ready reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure reporting aligns with ESRS, GRI, TCFD, ISSB, IFRS S1/S2.
• Design and maintain Power BI or Tableau dashboards to track ESG metrics.
• Coordinate Product Carbon Footprints for equipment and support carbon reduction projects.
• Collaborate with international teams to maintain high-quality data standards.
