Job summary

Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur (a branch of Pantai Medical Centre Sdn Bhd) is seeking a Korean translation and interpretation support specialist to assist patients, doctors and hospital staff. The role involves helping Korean-speaking patients with registration, consultation, admission and discharge, ensuring clear communication across departments.

You will facilitate smooth service delivery by answering enquiries, guiding visitors, and providing information about hospital services.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent is required.
• Fluent in Korean and English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide Korean translation and interpretation support for patients, doctors and staff.
• Assist Korean-speaking patients with registration, consultation, admission and discharge processes.
• Facilitate effective communication between patients and healthcare providers to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Assist Korean-speaking patients, corporate clients and visitors with enquiries and hospital-related services.
• Provide information to patients and visitors regarding hospital services and facilities.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor.
