Job summary

Scicom (MSC) Berhad in Kuala Lumpur seeks anAccounts Assistant to join our finance team. The role focuses on timely invoicing, AR data entry, and administrative support.

You will coordinate with Operations Heads for billing, prepare receipts, and ensure accurate filing of invoices and cash receipts. Fresh graduates are welcome; candidates with 1–2 years of accounting experience and strong Excel/Word skills will thrive.

Qualifications

• Degree/Higher Diploma in accounting or 1–2 years of accounting experience.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare invoices, debit notes, credit notes and quotations in a timely manner.
• Key in AR invoices into the accounting system.
• Obtain headcount verification signed off by Operations Head; handle administrative filing, photocopying and scanning.
• Obtain headcount listing and have invoices verified by the respective Operations Head for billing purposes.
• Prepare official receipts and ensure all invoices and cash receipts are filed properly.
• Resolve discrepancies by investigating supporting documentation.
• Maintain organized records and support month-end close processes.

Degree/Higher Diploma in accounting

1-2 years accounting experience
