Job summary

Domus Restaurant is seeking a diligent kitchen cleaner to assist in a busy kitchen environment in Malaysia. The role focuses on dish and equipment cleaning, sanitation, inventory control, chemical handling, and occasional event setup for banquets and buffets.

You will work hands-on with the kitchen team to maintain hygiene standards, track tableware, and support staff during service and special events.

Qualifications

• Duties include dish and equipment cleaning, sanitation, inventory control, chemical handling, and event setup.

Responsibilities

• Dish & Equipment Cleaning: Operating dishwashing machines and hand-washing pots, pans, and cutlery.
• Sanitation & Hygiene: Sweeping, mopping, and deep-cleaning kitchen floors and areas to health codes.
• Inventory Control: Tracking chinaware, glassware, and silverware, reporting breakages and ensuring adequate supply.
• Chemical Handling: Safely storing, mixing, and using heavy-duty cleaning chemicals with safety protocols.
• Event/Buffet Setup: Assisting with moving equipment, setting up buffet tables, and banquet plating.
