About the role

Rich Tea is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team in Lawas, Sarawak. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of our food preparation services. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be an essential part of our hospitality team, working behind the scenes to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and efficiency in our kitchen environment.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and organising ingredients and cooking equipment before service begins

Assisting kitchen staff with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, chopping and portioning ingredients

Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils and work surfaces

Storing food items correctly in accordance with food safety regulations and company procedures

Taking out waste and recycling materials appropriately

Assisting with basic food preparation under the guidance of senior kitchen staff

Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations

Following all health and safety guidelines and company policies

Reporting any issues or concerns to the Kitchen Manager or senior staff members

What we're looking for
