Job summary

Kesum & Kantan is seeking a full-time Food Service Kiosk Operator in Kuantan, Pahang. You will open and prepare the kiosk, cook and prepare food to standards, manage cashier duties, and maintain hygiene throughout the outlet.

Working hours are 9:00 AM–6:00 PM with a 1-hour break. The role requires at least 2 years in F&B, food safety certification, and Typhoid vaccination.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in F&B.
• Must have a valid Typhoid vaccination (TY2).
• Must have a valid Food Handler Training Certificate (Sijil Kursus Pengendalian Makanan).
• Able to prepare and cook food confidently.

Responsibilities

• Open the kiosk and prepare the outlet before business starts.
• Prepare and arrange ingredients according to daily requirements and check freshness and condition.
• Ensure all cooking equipment, utensils and work areas are ready for operation.
• Cook and fry food according to required standards, ensuring consistency in taste, quality and portion.
• Handle food ingredients safely and hygienically, and monitor stock during operations.
• Operate the cashier/POS system accurately and process customer orders and payments.
• Provide polite and professional customer service and assist with menu enquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and kiosk throughout the day, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces.
• Assist with receiving, checking and storing ingredients and supplies.
• Assist with closing and cleaning the kiosk at the end of the day.
