1. Teaching and Learning
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with the school's curriculum.

  • Foster children's development through play-based and experiential learning.

  • Teach foundational literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills.

  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

  • Encourage creativity, curiosity, independence, and problem-solving skills.

2. Classroom Management
  • Create and maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.

  • Establish positive classroom routines and behavior expectations.

  • Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, and transitions.

  • Ensure all classroom materials and resources are well maintained.

3. Child Development and Assessment
  • Observe, assess, and document children's progress and developmental milestones.

  • Maintain accurate student records and portfolios.

  • Identify learning, behavioral, or developmental concerns and communicate them appropriately.

  • Develop individualized support strategies when needed.

4. Parent Communication
  • Build positive and professional relationships with parents and guardians.

  • Provide regular updates on children's progress, behavior, and achievements.

  • Conduct parent-teacher conferences and meetings.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to parent inquiries and concerns.

5. Health, Safety, and Child Protection
  • Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times.

  • Follow school policies on health, hygiene, safeguarding, and emergency procedures.

  • Monitor children for signs of illness, injury, or distress and report concerns promptly.

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding student and family information.

6. Collaboration and Professional Development
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and school leadership.

  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching effectiveness.

  • Support school initiatives, programs, and extracurricular activities.
