Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a founding teaching team member to deliver engaging lessons for children aged 3 to 6 and to contribute to curriculum development at our Kuala Lumpur centre. You will mentor new teachers and support academic leadership as enrolment grows, helping to set up classroom routines and systems in line with the centre’s philosophy and Malaysian requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences for children aged 3 to 6
• Adapt lessons to meet the developmental needs of different age groups and learning abilities
• Refine lesson plans, thematic units, and learning activities
• Contribute to the development of the centre's curriculum framework
• Ensure programmes are aligned with the centre's educational philosophy and relevant Malaysian requirements
• Act as the centre's subject matter expert on child development, behaviour guidance, classroom management, curriculum and teaching-related matters
• Assist in supervising teaching quality and mentoring new teachers as the centre expands
• Participate in setting up classroom systems, routines, and learning environments
• Contribute ideas to improve programmes, operations, and parent engagement

As one of the founding teaching team members, you will be required to teach across different age groups based on enrolment needs that ranges from 3-6 years old students. As the centre grows, you will take on greater responsibility in curriculum development, teacher mentoring, and academic leadership.
