Job summary

MHG MARKETING is seeking a smartphone repair technician in Petaling Jaya to diagnose and repair devices, both hardware and software, and to perform component replacements. The role includes explaining issues to customers and maintaining an orderly repair station.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair smartphones, including hardware and software issues.
• Perform screen, battery, charging port, camera, speaker and other component replacements.
• Troubleshoot and test to ensure phones function properly after repair.
• Handle basic motherboard and micro-soldering repairs (if experienced).
• Provide basic technical advice and explain repair issues to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organisation of the repair workstation.
• Handle repair tools and equipment safely and properly.
• Keep track of repair status, spare parts and completed jobs.
• Assist with other shop duties when required.
